Nikon are famed worldwide for their high-end technical cameras predominantly used by professionals and they needed to build awareness of their foray into the impulse sector. They briefed us to create fully recycled gift packs destined for duty free outlets. These had to be easy to store flat and hand pack but look suitably intriguing to use as the only point of sale support.
Unlike most cameras, which are displayed using standard boxes, BrandMe’s Euro-hook solution managed to build theatre value, as well as differentiation, gift-worthiness and environmental credentials.
The strong fluted card is fully recyclable and marries Japan’s innovation and precise engineering with its poetic origami tradition, making Nikon’s ‘Precision Optics’ desirable and affordable.
Following the success of the airport launch, we then created a line of packs for sale in departments stores.
